Shovel It Guides Hub
Walkthroughs, systems explainers, and quest help for every stage of the snow map.
Welcome to the Shovel It Guides Hub. This page maps every tutorial on the wiki so you can move from your first click on the snow to late-game relics, weather farming, and night-time Starfall runs without guessing where to look next. Shovel It! by A Snow Game is a Roblox incremental simulator: you dig snow, uncover items, sell loot, upgrade shovels and blessings, place drills, drive vehicles, chase mutations, and complete NPC quests that unlock powerful tools.
If you just joined, start with the Getting Started guide. It covers the first-hour checklist—joining the group, redeeming codes, selling items, buying early blessings, talking to Scarp, and placing your first drills—so you do not waste coins on the wrong upgrades. Pair that with How to Play Shovel It when you want a clearer picture of controls, shops, snow types (sidewalk, road, construction, ice), and how vehicles and drills fit into a normal session.
Core systems worth learning early
Shovel It rewards players who understand why a dig is valuable, not only how fast they click. Weather changes the snow and the items under it. Mutations such as Wet, Frozen, Graced, Raged, Bloodlit, Polluted, and Toxic can multiply value. Vehicles can pollute snow on purpose. Relics—Broken Relics around the mid-game coin threshold and Lost Relics much later—stack permanent bonuses that change luck, power, speed, and mutation odds. Night brings Starfall, one of the best windows for rare rolls if you prepared luck, relics, and drills ahead of time.
Use these deep dives when you are ready:
- Mutations and Weather — how Rain, Thunder, and Starfall interact with mutations and relics
- Starfall Event Guide — night prep, AFK drill setups, and what to farm while stars are falling
- Quests Walkthrough — Scarp, Tired Tim ladders, Secret Agent on the crane, Lumber, Farmer Lost Shovel, Grandma, and why you must not sell quest items
- Drills Guide — buy, place, and claim AFK diggers; stack luck and power codes while you quest elsewhere
- Blessings and Vehicles — Silly Sam luck early, Mike shop rides, pollution digs, rebirth keep rules, Ice Age invites
- How to Get Lost Shovel — Farmer finale, black and red sky orb dig tip, and inventory softlock prevention
Drills, blessings, vehicles, and the Lost Shovel each deserve their own walkthrough because players search those intents constantly. Read Drills when you want the map to dig without you. Open Blessings and Vehicles before spending coins on Silly Sam or Mike’s mini tractor, snowplow, snowmobile, or snow blower. Use Lost Shovel the moment Farmer dialogue mentions that tool so you dig under the orb instead of clearing the wrong half of the map.
Recommended reading order
Hour one. Follow Getting Started, redeem every working entry on the Codes page, and learn the sell loop. Keep quest items in inventory. Buy a modest shovel upgrade and a blessing that improves luck or power before chasing vanity skins.
Hours two to four. Finish the early Scarp chain, clear Tired Tim construction snow when you can, and begin collecting the 22 ladders for the crane route. Read the quests guide before you dump inventory—Secret Agent access depends on Scarp progress plus Tired Tim’s ladder hand-in. Meanwhile, dig sidewalk and road snow for coins, then push into construction and ice when your shovel can handle them.
Mid game. Place drills for AFK digs while you run errands or hunt ladders. Save toward Broken Relic rolls near the ~500K economy break point, then plan for Lost Relics near the ~500M endgame tier. Cross-check shovel priorities on the Shovels Tier List and relic priorities on the Relics Tier List. Watch for Thor’s Hammer on ice—legendary and extremely rare—and for mutation windows during Rain or Thunder.
Late game and events. Farm Starfall nights with luck relics and active drills. Track patch notes on the Toxic Update page when Toxic weather or related codes drop. Invite friends if you want the Ice Age shovel skin (three invites). Use vehicles not only for travel and dig speed but for Polluted snow when you are hunting that mutation line.
How this hub stays useful
Every child page below is written for search intents players actually type: how to play, how to get the Lost Shovel, what Starfall does, which mutations matter, and how Tired Tim’s ladders unlock the Secret Agent. Internal links use trailing slashes and stay locale-agnostic in the source so each language build routes correctly. When a mechanic changes in a Roblox update, we revise the matching guide and leave this hub as the stable index.

Tips that apply to every guide
Always join the A Snow Game Roblox group before redeeming codes. Sell trash loot often enough to fund the next shovel tier, but quarantine quest objects so you never auto-sell a ladder, grandma item, or Farmer objective. Prefer digs that match active weather. Place drills before you go AFK. Check Players when you want community context, creators, or group links, and return here whenever a new walkthrough is published under Guides.
